If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

WeBalance is a personal finance management platform designed to help you track expenses, manage budgets, and gain insights into your financial habits. Our Service includes:

• Budget tracking and expense management with customizable categories
• Collaborative financial boards for shared household budgets
• AI-powered financial insights, recommendations, and anomaly detection
• Smart expense categorization using machine learning
• Predictive financial forecasting and personalized coaching
• Data export capabilities in multiple formats
• End-to-end encryption for sensitive financial data

3. User Accounts & Registration

To use WeBalance, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party authentication provider (such as Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, for all activities that occur under your account, and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or exhibit suspicious activity.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

WeBalance offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans ('Pro' tier) provide access to premium features including AI-powered insights, advanced analytics, and enhanced collaboration tools. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. WeBalance does not store your full payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team for assistance.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice.

5. Your Content & Data

You retain full ownership of any financial data, notes, and other content you enter into WeBalance ('Your Content'). By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will never sell Your Content to third parties. You may export or delete Your Content at any time through your account settings.

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using WeBalance, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Use the Service to launder money or facilitate any fraudulent financial activity

8. Intellectual Property

The WeBalance name, logo, user interface design, source code, and all associated materials are the exclusive property of WeBalance and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WeBalance and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or financial losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Modification & Termination

We are continuously improving WeBalance and may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice within the app or sending you an email at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
